Creamy Lemon Herb Chicken

Ingredients

  • 2 Chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1/2 cup White wine (or chicken stock)
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped Fresh herbs (parsley, thyme, or rosemary)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. 2Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  3. 3Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  4. 4Add white wine (or chicken stock) to the skillet and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom.
  5. 5Stir in heavy cream and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer and cook until slightly thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. 6Stir in fresh herbs.
  7. 7Return chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce. Serve immediately.
