Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Recipe Studio ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

Description of Service

Recipe Studio is an AI-powered recipe management platform that helps you discover, create, and organize recipes. Our Service includes AI-generated recipe suggestions, meal planning tools, grocery list generation, and ingredient detection from photos.

Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Access and Public Recipe Discovery

Recipe Studio offers self-service signup. Features and generation allowances depend on the plan described on our pricing page. The public recipe discovery integration is free and requires no Recipe Studio account. It searches and retrieves existing public recipes; it cannot generate or save recipes, access private collections, make purchases, or change account data. These terms also apply when you use that integration through a compatible assistant.

Optional Plus Subscription

Saving and sharing recipes do not require a paid subscription. A free account includes two one-time AI recipe generations. Plus includes 20 generations per monthly billing period. The purchase screen shows the applicable price before payment. Apple subscriptions, when available, are charged to your Apple account and renew monthly unless canceled before renewal in Apple subscription settings. Canceling renewal preserves access through the paid period, subject to refunds or revocation. Unused generations do not roll over.

Use Restore purchases while signed in to the Recipe Studio account that made the Apple purchase. Your saved recipes remain available after Plus expires. Deleting your Recipe Studio account does not cancel an Apple subscription; cancel it separately to prevent future charges.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any illegal purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Interfere with or disrupt the Service
Upload malicious content or spam
Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
Use the Service to generate harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content
Exceed reasonable usage limits or abuse AI features
Scrape, copy, or redistribute content without permission

Chef Content

You retain ownership of recipes and content you create. By using our Service, you grant us a license to store, display, and process your content as necessary to provide the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you upload, including recipes and images.

AI-Generated Content

Our Service uses artificial intelligence to generate recipes and cooking suggestions. You acknowledge that:

AI-generated content may not always be accurate or suitable for your needs
You should use your judgment when following recipes, especially regarding food safety
We are not responsible for the outcome of recipes or cooking suggestions
AI-generated recipes should be reviewed before use, particularly for allergen information

Food Safety Disclaimer

Recipe Studio provides recipes and cooking information for general informational purposes only. We are not responsible for any adverse reactions, illness, or injury resulting from recipes or suggestions provided through our Service. Always follow proper food safety guidelines, check for allergens, and consult with healthcare professionals if you have dietary concerns or restrictions.

Intellectual Property

The Recipe Studio name, logo, and Service design are our intellectual property. You may not use our branding without written permission. The underlying technology, including our AI integrations and interface, is protected by intellectual property laws.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recipe Studio and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Changes to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms of Service, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for any violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
