- ●8 ounces Pasta (spaghetti or linguine)
- ●1/2 pound Shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- ●2 tablespoons Olive oil
- ●3 cloves Garlic (minced)
- ●1/4 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
- ●2 tablespoons Lemon juice
- ●2 tablespoons Butter
- ●2 tablespoons Fresh parsley (chopped)
- ●to taste Salt
- ●to taste Black pepper
Instructions
- 1Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve about 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.
- 2While pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes and cook for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.
- 3Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through.
- 4Remove skillet from heat. Stir in lemon juice, butter, salt, and pepper.
- 5Add the drained pasta to the skillet and toss to coat. If the sauce is too thick, add a little of the reserved pasta water until it reaches your desired consistency.
- 6Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
