Poulet Sauté à la Dijonnaise

Ingredients

  • 4 Chicken breasts
  • 2, minced Shallots
  • 1/2 cup White wine
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup Crème fraîche
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. 2Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. 3Add chicken breasts to the skillet and sauté for 5-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. 4Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. 5Add minced shallots to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until softened.
  6. 6Deglaze the pan with white wine, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  7. 7Stir in Dijon mustard and crème fraîche.
  8. 8Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until slightly thickened.
  9. 9Stir in lemon juice.
  10. 10Return chicken breasts to the skillet and coat with the sauce.
  11. 11Serve immediately over rice or with crusty bread.
