Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound Shrimp
  • 4 ounces Chicken Sausage
  • 2 medium Shallots
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Fish Sauce
  • 2 cups Cooked Rice or Noodles

Instructions

  1. 1Dice the shallots. If the shrimp are large, halve or chop them. Slice the chicken sausage into rounds.
  2. 2Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the shallots and cook until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. 3Add the chicken sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Then, add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Be careful not to overcook the shrimp!
  4. 4Stir in the fish sauce. If you want a touch of sweetness, add a tiny bit of brown sugar or honey.
  5. 5Serve immediately over rice or noodles.
