Ingredients

  • 2 (4-6 ounce) salmon fillets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. 1Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  2. 2In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, salt, pepper, and lemon zest. Brush the mixture evenly over the salmon fillets.
  3. 3In another small bowl, combine the lemon juice, dill, and mayonnaise (if using). Set aside.
  4. 4Insert the iQ Chef probe into the thickest part of one of the salmon fillets.
  5. 5Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes. Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overlapping.
  6. 6Using the iQ Chef app, set the target temperature to 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare or 145°F (63°C) for well-done.
  7. 7Air fry for 8-12 minutes, or until the iQ Chef alerts you that the salmon has reached the desired temperature. Cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of the fillets and your air fryer.
  8. 8Carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer. Drizzle with the lemon-dill sauce and serve immediately with a side of rice or roasted vegetables.
