Ingredients

  • 4 ounces Ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 1 Brioche bun
  • 2 slices Fontina cheese
  • 1/2 cup Arugula
  • 2 tablespoons Truffle aioli
  • 1/4 cup Roasted red peppers

Instructions

  1. 1Prepare all ingredients: Caramelize onions (if using), roast red peppers (if using), make truffle aioli (or have it ready), slice cheese, and wash arugula.
  2. 2Gently form ground beef into a loose ball. Do not pack too tightly.
  3. 3Heat a cast-iron skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
  4. 4Place the beef ball on the hot surface and immediately smash it down with a sturdy spatula or burger press until very thin.

  6. 6Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until done to your liking.
