- ●1 cup Holy basil leaves
- ●2-4, depending on spice preference, finely chopped Thai chilies
- ●4 cloves, minced Garlic
- ●2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- ●1 tablespoon Fish sauce
- ●1 tablespoon Oyster sauce
- ●1 teaspoon Sugar
- ●2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
- ●2 cups, for serving Cooked rice
- ●2, for serving Fried egg (optional)
Instructions
- 1Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
- 2Add minced garlic and chopped chilies to the wok and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- 3Add ground chicken to the wok and cook, breaking it up with a spatula, until browned.
- 4In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, fish sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar. Pour the sauce over the chicken.
- 5Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened slightly and coated the chicken.
- 6Add holy basil leaves to the wok and stir-fry until wilted, about 30 seconds.
- 7Serve immediately over rice. Top with a fried egg, if desired.
